Insulite has been fabricating insulating glass for over 15 years.
Insulite offers insulating glass units from 7/16" (9mm) to
1" (25mm), with a maximum thickness of 1 5/16" (33mm)
for sloped glazing. A variety of glass combinations of clear, tint,
high-performance (pyrolitic and vacuum deposited) reflective and
Low-E is available as annealed, heat-strengthened or tempered glass.
Insulite offers a variety of insulating glass make-ups depending
on the end use. Insulite fabricates its insulating glass on a Lisec
automated vertical production line, which produces the flattest
and least distorted insulating glass units possible.
Dual Seal: polyisobutylene (butyl) primary seal; secondary
seal of polysulfide for most applications and silicone for structural
glazing. Silicone must be specified.
Edge Spacer: aluminum continuously bent and mechanically
joined along the straight section providing the highest spacer frame
integrity with air or argon filled air space.
Desiccant: molecular-sieve formulated for maximum absorption
of moisture.
Glass Types: Insulite is a factory direct buyer of AFG,
Guardian, Pilkington, PPG, and Visteon glazing select quality q3
