About the Role
Join our maintenance crew to keep the processes flowing by making sure equipment is well maintained and work areas are clean and clear. This is a behind-the-scenes position that enables our products to move smoothly and safely throughout the plant.
Requirements and Responsibilities
Reports to: Department Supervisor
Schedule: Monday through Friday (overtime as needed)
Day shift 6:00/7:00 AM – 4:00/6:00 PM
Night shift 5:00/6:00 PM – 3:00/4:00 AM
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform all tasks involved in the facility maintenance of Insulite Glass. This includes sweeping, dumping trash and general cleaning of the shop areas. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure work is as efficient and safe as possible.
Maintain a clean work environment throughout facility (involves sweeping, dumping trash, cleaning bathrooms, restocking supplies)
Keep parking lot and drive free of trash and broken glass
Assist with equipment installation, repairs and maintenance
All maintenance employees are expected to
Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Perform other related duties and assignments as required
Be available to work in all areas of production
Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs.
Must be able to work as part of a team
Work Environment
Most work takes place in an enclosed warehouse.
Involves standing, walking, and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
Must be able to work in a hot environment.
Must wear gloves and wrist guards and eye protection.
Must wear long pants, sleeved-shirts and sturdy work boots.
