Chester I. Lewis Reflection Park

The Chester I. Lewis meticulously designed reflection park pays tribute to the life and achievements of Lewis and showcases artwork contributed by Ellamonique Baccus and Matthew Mazzotta. Notably, the park functions as a secondary entry plaza for the Kansas Health Science Center - Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The collaborative efforts of Lewis' family, stakeholders, and the community played a crucial role in shaping the park's final design. The result is a space adorned with ornamental paving, illuminating lighting, interpretative glass art features, and comfortable seating areas, providing an inviting environment for relaxation, study, and community gatherings during special events.
